1- The removal of all nasty synthetic chemicals such as sulphates and parabens to make the new shampoo & conditioner sulphate and parabane free. Sodium lauryl sulphate (sls) & sodium laureth sulphate (sles) are "sulphates" that can cause allergic reactions’ and are well known irritants. These nasty chemicals in some people can temporarily aggravate the skin, causing redness, dryness and itching, while using shampoo's with sulphates is not recommended for people that have had keratin smoothing treatments either, as they strip away the actual keratin reversing the treatment effecting it's lasting qualities. 2- Adding keratin to both the shampoo and conditioner as a way to strengthen and assist in the repairing of damaged hair. Panthenol was also added to the Essential Keratin shampoo and conditioner to direct moisture into the hair, thicken the fibre, and to maintain the moisture balance of both hair and scalp.
